Time sure does fly! I met this little beauty when she was only about 5 months old and couldn’t sit up on her own yet, and now she is one!! It’s amazing how fast the little one’s change. You can see Baby “C”s progress & other photo-shoots by clicking here, here, here, & here. I took lots of other photos for her first birthday, but this photo solo strikes me to the core. So timeless…

When the Senior “Extravaganza” hit – it hit hard and fast!! I have thoroughly enjoyed every senior photo-shoot this season. Here’s a few of Miss Cyrena. She is so beautiful and such a model!!

In southeast Texas flowers don’t stay near as long as they should, so when I’m able to spot them, I go a little photo crazy. Miss “M” was such a little trooper. It didn’t bother her one bit to rummage through a field of flowers that were about half as tall as her. She just so happened to read me her entire Disney princess story. It was pretty funny hearing her version!!

I think the 3rd child born in every family is probably the most awesome of them all. I may be a little biased considering I am the 3rd child with 2 older siblings (and 2 younger as well). This little treasure is the 3rd healthy arrival to some of my most favorite people. Not to mention she is the 3rd girl
. I predict one day I will be blogging about a little baby brother of these little girls. Baby Trinity was so laid back and content – such a breath of fresh air. I’m so excited to see this little charm grow up and be an exceptional person in this world.

Here’s a few of little Owen’s recent photo-shoot. He’s getting so big. His last photo-shoot he needed help sitting up but this one he needed help standing up. I’m amazed at how quick they grow and change. Before long I will be chasing him around to get photos
Anyway he’s such a little baby model and always has super stylish clothes (which I’ll have to give credit to his momma for that) !!! I’m not gonna lie – if that hat was in my size I would totally buy it.![]()

I’m pretty sure my neighbors must think I’m crazy – or at least the ones that got to witness me hanging a million paper lanterns at 7am on a Saturday.
I borrowed these paper lanterns a long time ago and I’ve been waiting “patiently” for the perfect time to use them. It was time for baby “C”‘s 10 month old/valentine day photos and I was determined to use them regardless if the wind was blowing 20mph (because it was)!! I’ve been blessed to have been able to photograph her 4 times, and get to watch her little personality evolve. She is such a little sweet heart and was completely MESMERIZED by these lanterns.

I’m sure you thought Spiderman (aka Peter Parker) was much older than that – but turns out his 2nd birthday is just around the corner. He decided to grace us with his web spinning abilities and super fast speed! – I heart little super heroes!

…And the waiting game continues!! When we finally did the photo-shoot, Melissa was only 2 weeks from her due date, which happens to be cutting it VERY CLOSE with maternity photos. When we were done we joked about how she would prob. go into labor immediately now that the photos were done. Not according to Baby “G”. He has this massive waiting game going on, as Melissa has already passed her due date, and still no baby.
I know that no one is more anxious for him to be here than Melissa and Zane. Nonetheless, he will be here shortly, and I can’t even imagine the kind of love that baby is going to receive within his first 10 minutes of life. It will be amazing chaos!! Newborn photos to follow…

I was blessed to meet this awesome family during the recent crazed “mini-shoot spree’s.” I have to brag when I meet people as genuinely nice and happy as they were. It was baby “O”‘s first Christmas and I am always honored when someone lets me photograph their first family Christmas photo! Every time I take family photos, the revelation of what I’m truly doing starts to unfold more and more…It’s not just a family photo or just a Christmas photo… but it’s evidence of the union that was created, the life that was created, and the power and love that stems from that. It’s like the feelings that rush over you when look at a photo taken 18 years ago of your family and children, who happen to be at college now…or a photo from any moment of whatever day, where nostalgia kicks in and you start to daydream and reminisce ….. The power of that moment when those feelings come over you, I feel now when I’m photographing you. I know what these photos will do for you – and that is so worth it! Enjoy!

This is Mr. & Mrs. Landry’s first Christmas photos as a married couple and my second attempt to use my hobby lobby inspired, homemade a-frame tent – which apparently I didn’t make big enough for adults. I’m thinking I should get my lovely hubby to help me test out my homemade abilities pre photo-shoot – which I’m sure he’ll be thrilled about.
Watching them cram into the tent sitting up was pretty hilarious, but a sure way to get some genuine laughter from them… Fortunately, I’ve known this couple for a while (the husbands are best buds), and it was awesome getting to photograph them for the first time!! Especially considering they are expecting their first baby in 2012- making this the one and only time you’ll see just the 2 of them in their Christmas photos. That’s pretty special and I’m glad I was apart of it. Enjoy!
